• Our long-term strategy is to grow the business at a slow and steady pace.  We become partners with our clients and grow our companies together.  We continually add capacity to our company and we seek new clients when we have extra capacity.

• We continually monitor and balance our need for in-house work capacity and the need to outsource.  We use our own field crews for most of the work we complete however we still use subcontractors for certain jobs.  This allows us to offer our clients a broad range of services while keeping our overhead at a minimum.  We are fortunate to have built-up a great network of subcontractors with whom we have long-standing and mutually beneficial relationships.

• We have a modern computer system and we take digital photos of all work we complete.  We can deliver the photos over the internet or print and mail them, depending on our clients' needs.

History

• Wood's Property Services was founded by Frank Wood in 1988 to meet the special needs of Realtors and property managers.

• Wood's Property Services incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1994.

• In 1997 Mr. Wood brought on Mike Del Vacchio as a partner in the company to organize and run the business side of the operation - this allowed Mr. Wood to focus on improving the field operations. 

• The office moved into its present location in 1997.

• The company went through steady changes from 1997 to 2000 when many of the office procedures were restructured and the field operations became more formalized and consistent.

• From 2000 to the present we have focused on refining our business model, improving our procedures, and growing the company.
